Vaughan Soccer Club Inc. will be holding a Special Meeting of the Members on August 25, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at Maple Community Centre (Room #1), 10190 Keele Street, Vaughan, ON.
This meeting has been called for the following purposes:
- Approval of Articles of Amendment
Members will vote on a special resolution to approve changes to the Club’s Letters Patent, which include:- Establishing a minimum of 4 directors and a maximum of 12 directors.
- Updating the Club’s special provisions to align with the Ontario Not-for-Profit Corporations Act, 2010.
- Authorizing the Club to file Articles with the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery (MPBSD).
- Authorizing two directors to carry out necessary actions for implementation.
- Allowing technical amendments to be made as required without further approval from members.
- Confirmation of By-Law 2025-1
Members will also vote on a special resolution to confirm By-Law 2025-1, a new by-law governing the conduct of the Club’s business and affairs. - Other Business
Any other business that may properly come before the meeting or any adjournments will be addressed.
