U10 (2010 Born) Information

Program Description:

Our U10 program operates during the winter and summer seasons. Program accepts all players. Players will receive 3 training sessions per week plus a game as part of their program. Program last between 36-38 weeks a year between summer and winter season. Registration is paid prior to the start of the season. Entrance into this program is done through assessment sessions.

At the U10 age group, children gradually begin to change from being self-centered to self-critical and develop the need for group games. The motivation to learn basic skills is very high at this age. The game itself should be central to all technical training. Small-sided games, which provide the right amount of pressure for the child’s level of development, are more appropriate. These players start to move from the how (technique) to when, where, with whom and against whom (skill – tactics).

The U10 program overall objective is to create a developmental environment for every player that matches their individual playing needs and abilities.
