Dear Coaches, Parents and Guardians,

Committed to creating a positive soccer experience for all, Ontario Soccer Association and the Vaughan Soccer Club is pleased to provide these two convenient online courses for soccer coaches and parents. The coaching course is 3 hours online program and certification while the parent course  is 1 hour online program both programs are designed to reinforce coach's and parent's role in a child's activities, encouraging positive sport behaviors, and empowers parents to ensure the safety of their children, encourage positive and effective communication, and to enhance a child's fun and camaraderie of the activity.

All of new coaches are required to take the course Respect in Sport or they will not be coaching with the Vaughan Soccer Club and in our district the (YRSA). The coach's course is more intense and it is three hours long and they to can do it all in one seating or come back to it and pick up were they left off.

Coaches:

This is a great tool to try to get parents on your side. Please encourage them to take this course Respect in Soccer. The course is less intense then the one that coaching staff needed to take. It is an hour long and the cost is less which will be fully paid for by the Vaughan Soccer Club. The parents only need to bring in proof that they have taken the course by bringing in the certificate that they have completed the course.

Again please encourage all your parents to take the course.  This is a valuable course for the parents, it helps to create a great soccer environment!
